  31. MSKermit didn't play well with the IP stack of the modern Windows, and it
  32. didn't like most winmodems, but on a serial link or even a proper modem,
  33. MSKermit 3.16 works fine on Win98.

  35. Around that time, I supported a lot of computers running MSKermit under Win
  36. 3.11, and a few under Win95.  The ones that needed TCP/IP were upgraded to
  37. MSKermit95, but that was a high enough cost item that only a couple were
  38. upgraded.

  40. For an individual, I think an upgrade to Kermit95 is well worthwhile.
  41. My problem currently is ppor scrolling amongst the dialer entries, and
  42. trying to keep the names of machines straight ;-)
